PM Salam meets with Irish counterpart

Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam met Monday with his Irish counterpart Enda Kenny, who expressed concern regarding the ongoing tragic war in Syria, reiterating his country and the European Union’s continuous support to Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability.

Kenny added that Ireland calls for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council’s resolution 1701 and the Baabda Declaration, expressing support for the work of the international Support Group for Lebanon.
