Trilateral meeting held in Ras al-Naqoura- Army Command

A trilateral meeting was held on Thursday in Ras al-Naqoura under the chairmanship of UNIFIL's commander, Major-General Paolo Serra, the Army Command- Orientation Directorate said in a statement.

The meeting was held in the presence of a delegation of Lebanese officers with talks featuring high on the latest Israeli violations against Lebanon.

The Lebanese delegation shed light on the continuous Israeli air violations as well as several breaches and provocations by Israel as it carried out clean-up operations in the north side of the technical fence, the statement said.

"The Lebanese delegation has called for an end to all kinds of violations," the statement added.

For his part, Serra stressed the need to be committed to a "coordination and correlation mechanism" with the UNIFIL command in order to prevent tension and preserve stability in compliance with UN resolution 1701.
