ISF unit thwarts attempt to smuggle drugs into Tripoli's al-Qobbeh prison

The Internal Security Forces Directorate announced on Tuesday that it thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs into Tripoli's al-Qobbeh prison.

The Directorate added that a man, identified as A.Q. (born in 1987) attempted to smuggle the narcotics that included 60 pills of Captagon and 65 pills of Benzhexol into the prison by hiding them inside a shoe.

Investigations are being carried out to reveal details behind the incident.

No further details were provided in this regard.
