Man shot dead by own father in Akkar

A family dispute which erupted on Tuesday in the Akkar town of Wadi al-Rihan, evolved into an armed clash, leaving one killed, the state-run National News Agency reported.

In the details, a man (M.A.) traded fire with his son (A.A.) and the two sustained gunshot wounds to their stomach.The son succumbed to his wounds later on.

Internal Security Forces members rushed to the scene while both men were transported to Youssef Hospital in Halba.
