HIC Sheikh Qabalan calls for supporting the Palestinian people

Higher Islamic Shi'ite Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan called on Tuesday for supporting the Palestinian people, noting that the Arab world is grappling with instability.

Qabalan's statements were made during his Eid al-Fitr sermon whereby he stressed the need to ease tensions in Lebanon and put an end to oppression in neighboring Syria.
