Israeli army drops flare bombs over Bint Jbeil district

The Israeli army dropped on Monday overnight flare bombs over the southern towns of Aita al-Shaab and Ramayya in the district of Bint Jbeil, the state-run National News Agency reported on Tuesday.

Lebanon's foreign ministry filed on Thursday (July 17) a complaint to the United Nations Security Council over the Israeli violations to the country's sovereignty and the UNSC resolution 1701.

Lebanon, which is technically at war with Israel, has been grappling with numerous Israeli violations mainly in southern border areas.
