Newborn baby abandoned in a banana grove in Sidon

The state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday that a newborn baby was found abandoned in a cardboard box in a banana grove in Sidon's Dkerman neighborhood.

The baby was transported to the governmental hospital of Sidon for a check-up.

The health of the baby is reportedly in a stable condition.
