Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri stressed Tuesday his full support and solidarity with the Lebanese Armed Forces in its war on terror and armed groups that infiltrated into the town of Arsal.
Hariri noted that the Lebanese army proved once again the need for the Lebanese parties to unite during these critical circumstances, pointing out that political cover must be provided for the army in order to be able to carry out its security and military duties.
In this regard, Hariri praised the stance of Prime Minister Tammam Salam launched following the cabinet session held on Monday, where he stressed the need to put an end to all extraordinary events threatening civil peace.
Hariri denounced the attack that targeted the convoy of the delegation of Muslim Scholars in Arsal, describing the incident as an attempt to lead the country toward further tension and conflicts.
