Abducted Lebanese expatriate released in exchange for ransom in Nigeria
The state-run National News Agency reported on Wednesday that a Lebanese expatriate, who was kidnapped in Nigeria, was released in exchange for ransom.

Saadallah al-Seqlawi was abducted ten days ago by armed men in Nigeria.

His family refused to reveal any additional details on his release. Seqlawi hails from the town of Deir Qanoun, Ras al-Ain in the southern region of Tyre.

Kidnappings for ransom are very common in Nigeria, with dozens of foreigners, including the Lebanese community, targeted every year.
