Following the bloc’s weekly meeting, Minister Jreissati reiterated the bloc’s call for the election of a president and a new parliament on the constitutional deadline, stressing that the bloc’s concept of a state is different than that of March 14’s.
“Our state is comprised of figures who seek national interest,” Jreissati said.
On another note, Jreissati said Lebanese authorities should assume their duties in order to secure the release of Lebanese Armed Forces who were kidnapped in Arsal, noting that authorities should preserve Lebanon’s dignity and prestige.
