Armed men break into Makari's residence, steal two shotguns

The state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday that unknown armed men broke into the residence of deputy Speaker Farid Makari at dawn.

The agency added that the masked gunmen attacked the guards at the entrance of the official's residence in the Anfeh region.

They also stole two shotguns before fleeing the scene to an unknown destination.

Security forces soon rushed to the area and launched an investigation in the incident.
