Cabinet session kicks off at Grand Serail
A cabinet session has kicked off at the Grand Serail under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Tammam Salam.

In this regard, Social Affairs Minister Rashid Derbass told Agence France Presse that the cabinet decided to set up two informal camps for Syrian refugees on the Lebanese border.

Ahead of the session, Derbass said he will brief the cabinet on the discussions that took place yesterday regarding the establishment of informal camps.

For his part, Education Minister Elias Bou Saab said no agreement was reached over the establishment of camps for the Syrian refugees, adding that there were no disputes either.

In turn, Public Works and Transport Minister Ghazi Zoaiter said he will hold a meeting on Sunday in Baalbek in the presence of the region's figures.

"The meeting will tackle the kidnapping issue as well as the security situation in the Bekaa," the minister added.
