Man accused of killing wife arrested in Nabatiyeh

Lebanon's security apparatuses found on Thursday the body of Salam Mohammad, the wife of Basel Khalaf, buried in a garden in al-Akideh neighborhood in the town of al-Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa.

The security forces arrested Khalaf in Nabatiyeh and put him under investigation after his wife was reported missing 10 days ago.

Security members pulled out Salam's body from the place where she was buried and opened an investigation to reveal the circumstances behind the crime.

Ghada Abou Karroum, the senior appeal judge in Nabatiyeh, arrived to the town and will closely supervise investigations.
