Merehbi: Let LAF give us weapons and we will protect ourselves

MP Mouiine el Merehbi condemned, once again, the Arida incident, criticizing the Lebanese Armed Forces “whose role today is limited to that of a policeman”.

“This is simply unacceptable”, Merehbi told Nharkom Saiid TV show. Merehbi stressed that the LAF’s primary duty is to protect the Lebanese people, adding that the tragic incidents are occurring on a daily basis in the North.

“Let them give us their weapons and we are ready to protect ourselves”, Merehbi said.
