Media reports said that Kerry praised in a letter sent to Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil the endeavors undertaken by the Lebanese state in its war against terrorism.
He also explained in his letter his country's course of action to form a coalition against IS and similar groups, stressing that the US acknowledges the fears expressed by Minister Bassil over dangers imposed by IS and other terrorist organizations on Christians and other minorities in the region.
