MP Nicolas Fattouch stressed Monday that he is under the law, “but if the law were to be politicized, he would be the first to raise an objection.”
The deputy pointed out that parliamentary immunity is more important than that of lawyers, stressing that it can only be lifted through a decision issued by parliament itself.
“The President of the Bar Association must be concerned with the affairs of attorneys and not those related to employees, but he ignored my immunity and did not inquire about the details of the incident,” Fattouch said.
In this regard, he stated that, according to Manale Daou’s own confession, he did not punch her.
Last week (Monday October 20), sources from the Justice Palace reported that MP Nicolas Fattouch punched a female employee, identified as Manale Daou, responsible for filing complaints at Justice Palace, after she had asked him to wait in line.
