The Lebanese Armed Forces troops deployed massively in the Akkar town of Adweh and its vicinity, reaching the Naher al-Bared channel, which separates al-Donniyeh from Akkar.
The army set up checkpoints to inspect all vehicles crossing into the region and verify the identities of the passengers, while conducting patrols across the area in search for fugitives.
