Ep11: KAFA's Zalfa says...
As part of our effort to shed light on women's rights in Lebanon, LBCI will be broadcasting a 30 second segment on the nightly news bulletin over a span of 16 days.

Zalfa, a character created by KAFA (Enough Violence & Exploitation), will be explaining the inner workings of the law against domestic violence in a bid to raise awareness on law 293.

In tonight's segment Zalfa says:

You can ask for a restraining order at your parents’ house. A Woman asked to be protected at her parents’ house. The order protects her, her daughter, her parents and the rest of her family members.

The order remains effective until a decision is issued on the fate of the marriage.

Watch us tomorrow for further clarifications on the law against domestic violence.
