The truth about MP Gemayel assassination attempt

A security official told LBCI that talks about foiling an attempt to assassinate MP Sami Gemayel are untrue. The official said that the concerned apparatuses conveyed a warning to MP Gemayel that it is necessary, at this point, for him to take precautions.

On the other hand, exclusive security information told LBCI that Gemayel received a call from a security official to inform him that a trap is being set for him on his way to a dinner at a specific time and place. The same official also said that Gemayel was asked to take precautionary measures.
