MP De Freige to LBCI: War and peace decision should be in hands of Lebanese state

Future bloc MP Nabil De Freige said on Saturday that the dialogue with Hezbollah did not generate any results until present, adding that dialogue between the Future Movement and the Free Patriotic Movement gave results more than any other dialogues.

De Freige’s comments were made during a phone call with Nharkom Said TV Show in which he asserted that the peace and war decision should be in the hands of the Lebanese state.

He aslo stressed the importance of easing down the sectarian tensions following Hezbollah’s attack in the Shebaa Farms.

In an apparent revenge attack for an Israeli air strike in Syria that killed senior Hezbollah members, the armed group said its “ Quneitra Martyrs Brigade” had carried out Wednesday an attack on an Israeli convoy in the Shebaa Farms frontier area.
