The Lebanese army bombed on Thursday locations in Lebanon’s eastern mountain range with missiles and heavy artillery, after detecting movements of gunmen in the mountainous region of Arsal, the National News Agency reported.
Arsal has been the scene of conflict after militant gunmen overran the northeastern border town briefly during August, where they took Lebanese troops as hostages.
