Military court charges 12 persons with kidnapping defected Syrian soldiers

Lebanon’s military court charged on Wednesday 12 people with abducting defected Syrian soldiers and handing them over to the Syrian government.

Three of the 12 suspects are currently in custody after being apprehended by the Internal Security Forces Information Bureau in north Lebanon on Monday.

One of three arrested men is a Lebanese soldier.

The remaining suspects are still on the run.
