Civil Defense units thwart suicide attempt in Beirut
A man in his forties attempted on Thursday to commit suicide by setting himself on fire under Beirut’s Cola Bridge.
 
Civil Defense units rushed to the scene of the incident and saved the man.
 
He was transferred to the Jeitawi hospital in Achrafieh to receive the needed medical treatment for the burns he sustained.
