PM Salam says will be open to dialogue during next cabinet session

Prime Minister Tammam Salam reiterated on Monday the necessity of resorting to calmness to maintain stability in Lebanon, pointing out that he will be open to dialogue over the governmental work mechanism during the next cabinet session.

PM Salam said before his visitors that not only is he entrusted with the premiership but also with preserving the country amid the current presidential vacuum, adding that he may resort to certain approaches in a bid to maintain the work of the cabinet.

“I will not contribute to obstruction; we must remain calm and prevent our political disputes from destabilizing the country especially during the tourism season,” he stated.
