Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Hekmat Dib said Thursday that the ongoing series of mandate extension indicates that the state is following a downward path that leads to failure and disability.
“We will not stand idly by as the constitution is being destroyed,” he added.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Dib noted that “the Future Movement overturned the agreements reached with the Free Patriotic Movement, as if it intends to raise tension to serve foreign interests.”
“The new Saudi leadership is exerting pressure in a bid to complicate agreements between Lebanese factions,” the deputy pointed out.
MP Dib added that Hezbollah did not support the decision pertaining to delaying discussions concerning security leaderships, stressing that the majority that attended the cabinet session passed the said decision.
