Private schools, nurseries, state institutions and administrations to close on Wednesday

Education Minister Elias Bou Saab declared on Tuesday the closure of private schools tomorrow (Wednesday) due to the sandstorm hitting Lebanon.

In this context, the Health Ministry also decided to close all nurseries tomorrow.

For his part, Prime Minister Tammam Salam issued a decree ordering the closure of all state institutions and administrations on Wednesday due to the sadnstorm

An unprecedented suffocating sandstorm has been engulfing Lebanon since Monday afternoon and is expected to last until Thursday evening.
