“You Stink” campaign expressed Monday its confidence in the experts committee tasked with the issue of the waste crisis, noting that it does not trust the executive authority in this regard.
The campaign added that the decision of the cabinet to adopt Minister Akram Chehayeb is not complete; pointing out that it requires decrees to enter into effect.
In the same context, the campaign’s activists said that “it is shameful that the people are being held responsible for the trash crisis,” calling for a transitional plan that resembles a sustainable one.
“You Stink” anti-corruption environmental activists are behind the recent demonstrations against the garbage crisis in Lebanon.
