Students stage sit-in at Baalbek governmental school

Students of the Baalbek governmental school staged a sit-in at the institution to protest against a decision to transfer the school to Baalbek’s Amchaki schools collective - a collaborative governmental effort to merge educational institutions.

The students raised banners voicing their objection to the decision that will result in increasing the cost of transportation.

In this context, the protesters distributed a statement signed by all the parents, whereby they stressed the students’ rejection to the said decision, calling on the education minister not to implement the measure.
