A seminar was held Sunday at the national library in Baakline concerning means to get an energy loan in the implementation of projects related to renewable energy in agriculture.
The seminar aims at spreading the concept of renewable energy in agriculture, boosting the capabilities of farmers and developing Lebanese agriculture in general, while emphasizing that renewable energy contributes to reducing pollution rates and puts an end to the uncalculated consumption of energy while helping the farmers in saving large amounts of money.
In this regard, experts who participated in the seminar stressed the need to put in place a guidance plan for the introduction of renewable energy in agriculture, promoting at the same time the energy loan with 1% interest rate, which can help the farmer in installing new energy projects.
