Public Affairs Minister Ghazi Zoaiter stated Sunday that the Russian authorities informed him that they cancelled the maneuvers conducted in the Mediterranean Sea off the Lebanese coast, noting that the civil aviation will return to normal.
The Russian authorities had asked Beirut airport to shut down its airspace to maintain the safety of civil aviation in light of Russian maneuvers carried out in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Lebanon.
