Residents block Berkayel road to protest against power cuts

Residents of Berkayel blocked on Tuesday the town’s main road with burning tires to protest against the power cuts, especially that a severe cold wave is currently hitting the northern district of Akkar.

The protesters called upon Electricite du Liban (EDL) “to treat their town and the neighboring towns just like any other Lebanese region.”
