Wahhab: Campaign targeting the LAF is unjustified

The Head of the Arab Tawhid Movement Wiam Wahhab said on Tuesday that the campaign targeting the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) is unjustified.

Wahhab urged all parties to shield the LAF from political wrangling since it is the only institution left that is holding all Lebanese parties together when all other state institutions incite division.

In a meeting held in his honor in Yanta in Rashaya district, Wahhab said that in these critical times, it is important to maintain unity.

Speaking on the overall situation in Syria, Wahhab said: “Any attempt to weaken Syria will fail miserably”.

Wahhab stressed that the situation in Jabal Al Arab is under control since the Syrian army is strong and unified and the majority of the Syrians are for safety and security.
