Jumblatt on elections indifferent of his status
PSP leader Walid Jumblatt described the latest clashes occurring in Tripoli as dangerous calling for wisdom while confronting this issue.

Jumblatt made these statements from Kuwait on Sunday, and called on Syrian friendly nations such as Syria and Iran to intervene before catastrophe strikes all of Syria.

Answering a question related to Lebanon’s elections  Jumblatt said that the country is now facing tumultuous times, adding that he hoped that the elections would occur even if it means his failure in the polls.

In his concluding remarks Jumblatt said that Hezbollah will not voluntarily hand over its arms, adding that the fall of the Syrian regime will not affect the resistance movement nor the Shia in general.
