Manjian: approved regulations were already included in electricity plan

State Minister Panos Manjian said Thursday that the true winner in the approval of the electricity plan was the Lebanese people, adding that after heavy debate, the cabinet settled on regulations that were already included in plan’s original draft.

Manjian told Voice of Lebanon radio station that hiking the electricity rate was never considered during the cabinet session yesterday, adding the government will do their best to prevent such an increase.
