Layoun: Opposition should embrace the plan approval

Culture Minister Gaby Layoun said Thursday that he expects Speaker Nabih Berri to call to convene a legislative session soon to pass the electricity draft law; voicing hope that the opposition or the minority in the parliament would embrace this positive move otherwise they will be seen as supporting injustice.

Layoun on Voice of Lebanon radio station denied the allegations that Change and Reform bloc was against four-stage funding for the electricity plan.

On the STL funding issue, Layoun said that there is a pile of questions raised on the matter.
