Geagea: Lebanon cannot remain at a state of deterioration
Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea said on Tuesday that Lebanon cannot be left in this “deteriorating” state, adding that the country’s sovereignty, security, and socio-economy is rotting from the core.

In a statement said after receiving Greek Catholic Metropolitan of Beirut and Byblos Archbishop Cyril Salim Bustros, Geagea said that everything occurring in the country at the moment is proof of the current government’s inability to accommodate to the needs of the country and the people – adding that the government cannot justify the deterioration of security sweeping the nation.

In his concluding remarks, Geagea said that all obstacles facing the nation can be addressed with a government that “feels responsibility” towards its citizens.
