Pope confirms September 2012 visit to Lebanon

Pope Benedict XVI confirmed on Thursday his trip to Lebanon set to take place in mid-September 2012.

During his meeting with the participants of the 85th annual meeting of R.O.A.C.O [Reunion of Aid Agencies for the Oriental Churches], the Pope declared his sense of embracement for Lebanese church. His Eminence called on "Mother Mary to bless his journey" aimed at placing the seal on the Synod of Bishops of the Middle East.
