99 points on Blue Line verified

The Army Command in Lebanon said Saturday that the technical committee is working hand in hand with a topographic team affiliated with UNIFIL to carry out the blue line delineation, adding that it has managed so far to verify and demarcate 11 geographical points located between Alma Chaab and Dhayra after the spacing between those points was proven to be within the permissible parameters.

The Army Command added that the committee has so far verified 99 points on the Blue Line.

The Blue Line is a demarcation line between Lebanon and Israel created by the United Nations in 2000 to verify the full withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanese territories.
