Davutoglu briefs Mikati on jet-related information

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu called Lebanese PM Najib Mikati on Saturday night and briefed him on the information available with the Turkish government with regard to the downing of the military jet as well as ongoing efforts to find its missing pilots.

Mikati voiced solidarity with the families of the missing pilots, hoping that the existing cooperation between the Syrian and Turkish forces will bear desired results.

The Lebanese PM also told the Turkish official that dialogue between Turkey and Syria helps resolve differences, adding that the regional situation requires wisdom and self-restraint.
