Halba fugitives arrested

Internal Security Forces (ISF) captured Monday morning the Halba prison fugitives, Adel Ghamrawi and Mohammad Khodr near el-Minieh, along with a third accomplice, Chadi Arour, who had helped them breakout of prison only one day earlier.

Three prisoners escaped from Halba prison in Akkar on Sunday morning after they seized weapons and ammunition from the prison guards.

ISF had managed to capture the third escapee Hamza Msheik, after he was wounded during an exchange of gunfire during the escape on Sunday.
