Raad: We did not "force" anyone out of power
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad said Monday that “the opposition only wants to return to power through control and monopolization, adding that it was not the new majority that led to the previous cabinet’s collapse but their bad bets and the way they dealt with the public.

During an inaugural address in the village of Sajed, south of the country, Raad said he would welcome the new opposition [March 14 coalition] back to power if they reconsider their policies.

“They [March 14] are so self-serving that they burnt their last bridges with those who hold different political views”, Raad said.

Raad added that they dismissed the last mean of communication linking them with the resistance society, communication tools put forth by Speaker Nabih Berri “who is diplomatic, well experienced and knows how to round the edges”, according to Raad.
