Nasrallah: Waiting for regional changes to form cabinet does not serve interest of those betting on it

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stressed Tuesday that the Resistance in Lebanon is stronger than ever in terms of weapons, equipment, expertise and potentials, noting that during the July 2006 war, Hezbollah was stronger than the Israeli army.

Speaking during a ceremony marking 12th anniversary of July 2006 victory, Nasrallah said that the Shiite party “would celebrate victory very soon in Syria.”

On the local scene, Hezbollah chief said that “waiting for regional changes to form the cabinet does not serve the interest of those who are betting on it, neither in terms of number of ministers nor portfolios.”

“We make demands and we criticize in an objective manner, but when we disagree over an issue, like the Turkish ship that came to Zahrani, Do we really need to insult each other this way?” he asked, adding that if we want development and better services, we need cooperation and integration.

Nasrallah stated that it was a historic decision between Amal Movement and Hezbollah to face the issues together, stressing that they will not be dragged into any conflict or dispute.

On another note, Nasrallah noted that Saudi Arabia interferes in Syria, Iraq and in the Lebanese affairs in details, pointing out that “one day, it detained Lebanon’s prime minister, while it rejects Canada’s intervention.”
