Rai meets Aoun to discuss developments in Lebanon

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai discussed with the Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun in Bekerke the latest developments in Lebanon, on Monday.

Following the meeting, Aoun said: “The fact that we are endorsing remarks made by Rai who is entrusted with the Synod for Lebanon and the Synod for the Middle East is nothing new.”
In a statement, the Secretary General of the Maronite Patriarchate of Beirut said that Rai will visit the parishes of Beirut on Wednesday.

His visit will cover the parishes of Metn, Aley and Chouf and it will end with a mass at 7p.m. in St. Georges Church in Majdel Mouch. His visit to Beirut’s parishes will continue on November 4, 5 and 6.
