Violations in Koura sub-elections discussed at UNESCO

The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) and the Lebanese Transparency Association (LTA) refuted the legal contraventions and mistakes committed during the sub-election in Koura.

During a joint press conference held at the UNESCO Palace on Monday, the two associations highlighted a series of remarks mostly related to electoral publicity, electoral expenses, bribes, illegal spending and the exploitation of public resources.

The two associations put forth a series of recommendations pertaining to the electoral law, the electoral process and electoral reform.
