Nahr El Mot highway reopened in both directions

FPM supporters blocked Nahr El Mot Road on Tuesday night in both directions, showing solidarity with the LAF. The highway was reopened 40 minutes later.

The protesters blocked the roads with burning tires and metal barriers, causing a severe traffic jam.

The FPM supporters also blocked the road near al-Sayyad roundabout in Hazmiyeh. The LAF intervened immediately and reopened the road.

Sources told LBCI that Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun contacted the protesters, calling on them to reopen the roads soon.
