Pilgrims' relatives to LBCI: Hostage video an intimidation tool
A state of anticipation prevails in Beirut’s Southern Suburbs today as relatives of the 11 hostages kidnapped in Syria are awaiting any developments in the case.

The relatives told LBCI that the video aired by AL Jazeera, on the eve of Hezbollah Chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s TV appearance, aims at embarrassing Nasrallah and highlighting the importance of apologizing for his continued support of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The relatives pointed out that the video is a mere intimidation tool, confirming that they have been informed that the 11 hostages will be released during the holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Jazeera Channel aired a video on Tuesday featuring the 11 Lebanese men kidnapped in Syria. The abductors confirmed that two Lebanese hostages will be released thanks to the efforts of the Union of Muslim Scholars. They reiterated their call on Nasrallah to apologize to the Syrian people and rebels respectively.
