Williams: Stability and calmness inevitable in Lebanon

United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Michael Williams stressed the necessity of preserving stability and calmness in Lebanon especially amid the region’s latest developments. “Lebanon’s security situation must be protected to prevent repercussions”, Williams said.

Williams met earlier with Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn. “Lebanon is aware that this phase is critical”, Ghosn said reassuring the Lebanese that the security situation in the country is under control.
