Daher calls on “Assad’s cabinet” to resign

Lebanon First bloc MP Khaled Daher announced on Saturday that “the Syrian regime has collapsed and is heading for the abyss”.

During a press conference, Daher denied the presence of hundreds of armed men in Akkar, saying “these information should have been handed over to security apparatuses, enabling them to carry out their duty”.

Daher added that the repeated Syrian infiltrations as well as the tension witnessed in Tripoli reflect “the desperate attempts of the Syrian regime to spread chaos in Lebanon and to prove that it can shake Lebanon’s stability at any time”.

In his concluding remarks, Daher called on PM Najib Mikati to resign, saying “I call for the resignation of the cabinet of Bashar al-Assad in Lebanon”.
