Security measures in Tripoli to prevent kidnappings from reaching Syrian refugees
The city of Tripoli witnessed an armed presence which required extraordinary measures in hospitals and centers receiving Syrian refugees.

The Internal Security Forces intensified its movements on the ground and during a tour for LBCI crew with the ISF on several centers and hospitals, a heavy deployment for security forces was noticeable on the entrances of the buildings.

In this context, ISF commander in Tripoli Bassam Al Ayoubi told LBCI that the security forces work on preventing attacks against anyone, calling on Syrians to live peacefully since the ISF is present to protect them.

Several meetings and gatherings agreed on the need to fortify and protect Tripoli, in the process of protecting the Syrians whether they are injured or not.

This situation puts the ISF in a difficult challenge as it is responsible for the refugees and will be held accountable in case any kidnapping takes place.
