The wait is over: lower Internet prices by first of October
Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sahnaoui said that Ogero has created many stumbling blocks for the cabinet but a solution, including lower Internet prices and a developed infrastructure, is just around the corner.

Sahnaoui told Al-Akhbar daily that the new Internet fee will be adopted in the beginning of October, stressing that along with lowering the price of the broadband Internet services, the cabinet aims at launching high-speed internet 4 to 8 times faster than in the past and monthly data caps will see a 5-fold increase.

This step is a qualitative leap for both the consumers and the companies since it will change the prevailing customs and trigger an economic boom in the digital sector.
